St.
Matthew’s has a wonderful choir under the direction of Mr.
David Emery. If you desire to praise God in song, even if you feel
you have no talent in this area, you are always welcome to join
our choir. Choir Practice is held every Thursday evening at 7:15
in the church from September through June. The Choir sings regularly
at the 10:30am Sunday masses and at special masses and events during
the year. Singing is praying twice and by joining the choir you
will not only be praising God in song, you will also be ministering
to the church community by sharing your voice and enhancing the
beauty of the mass. Liturgical worship is given a more noble form
when it is celebrated in song. Also, if you have ability on a musical
instrument, let us know, as we have need of instrumentalists on
occasion.
