Founded in
1902, Knights of Columbus Council #648 serves the Catholic men of three parishes—St. Matthew’s, St. Pius, and Sacred Heart. As part of a global brotherhood, the Knights are committed to the Catholic Faith and to doing good in service to God and neighbor.

Responsibilities

  • Support parish life and community outreach
  • Volunteer at events centered on faith, family, youth, pro-life, and charity
  • Foster spiritual growth and fraternity
  • Gain access to top-rated insurance programs for Knights and their families

Time Commitment

  • Minimum of 1 hour per month
  • Council meetings: 2nd Tuesday of each month in Seton Hall
  • Fellowship and pizza at 6:15 p.m.
  • Meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.
  • Officer meetings: 1st Thursday of each month

Volunteer Requirements

  • Completion of a background check
  • Attendance at a Protecting God’s Children class (one-time)
