Summary
Founded in
1902, Knights of Columbus Council #648 serves the
Catholic men of three parishes—St. Matthew’s,
St. Pius, and
Sacred Heart. As part of a global brotherhood, the Knights are committed to the Catholic Faith and to doing good in service to God and neighbor.
Responsibilities
- Support parish life and community outreach
- Volunteer at events centered on faith, family, youth, pro-life, and charity
- Foster spiritual growth and fraternity
- Gain access to top-rated insurance programs for Knights and their families
Time Commitment
- Minimum of 1 hour per month
- Council meetings: 2nd Tuesday of each month in Seton Hall
- Fellowship and pizza at 6:15 p.m.
- Meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.
- Officer meetings: 1st Thursday of each month
Volunteer Requirements
- Completion of a background check
- Attendance at a Protecting God’s Children class (one-time)
