Hospitality/ushers

Coordinators:

Welcome parishioners. Create a sense of belonging. Serve with joy.

Purpose
Ushers and greeters play a vital role in creating a welcoming and orderly environment during Mass. They offer hospitality, assist with the flow of the liturgy, and support the needs of parishioners.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist parishioners as they arrive
• Help with seating and accommodate special needs
• Invite a family to bring up the offertory gifts
• Assist with offertory collections
• Direct Eucharistic Ministers to those unable to approach the altar
• Distribute bulletins and offer farewells after Mass

Time Commitment

• Approximately 1 hour per week
• Scheduled on a rotating basis

Volunteer Requirements

• Open to individuals 16 years and older
• Training provided on-site
